1948:Yuncheng Salt-Chemical Industry Bureau (YSIB) in Shanxi Province was founded. It became the biggest base of inorganic salt manufacturing in the country.

1988:YSIB set up its first subsidiary company: Yuncheng Salt-Chemical Industry Bureau’s Import & Export Corporation, and began to enter into the international market.

1992:YSIB began to engage itself in synthetic detergent industry.

1995:YSIB merged into it through purchasing the Benxi Petrochemical General Company in Liao Ning Province. The total turnover of YSIB reached RMB533million.

1996: Nafine Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. was established in April with the former Yuncheng Salt-Chemical Industry Bureau, and Shanxi Xi’an Daily-Use Chemical Industry Company as the main body. Yuncheng Salt-Chemical Industry Bureau’s Import & Export Corporation also changed its name to China Nafine Group International Co., Ltd. The total turnover of Nafine Group reached RMB874million.

1997:Nafine Group became a state-controlling listed company by issuing A-stock in the Shenzhen Stock Market. In the same year, the Group merged through purchasing Anshun Daily-Use Chemicals Co.,Ltd. in GuiZhou Province, Anqing Synthetic Detergent Plant in AnHui Province, Xi’an Toothpaste Plant in Shanxi Province, Penshan Sodium Sulfate Plant in SiChuan Province, and set up a new project of Potassium Sulfate with a capacity of 100,000 ton/year. The total turnover of Nafine Group reached RMB1.23billion.

1998: The Group merged into it through purchasing Hongze Chemical Industry Group Company (Sodium Sulfate, Sodium Nitrate/Nitrite) in Jiangsu Province and Tongqing Chemical Industry Co.,Ltd. (Sodium Sulfate) in Sichuan Province. The total turnover of Nafine Group reached RMB1.69billion with the export turnover as USD10million.

1999:The Group bought Jinhai Pharmaceutical Factory in Shanxi Province. The total turnover reached RMB2.2billion with the export turnover of the Group as USD18million.

2000:The Group passed the ISO9002 quality system certificate and it’s total turnover reached RMB2.4billion with the export turnover as USD20million.

2001:The Group's total turnover reached RMB2.2billion with the export turnover as USD23million.

2002:The Group's total turnover reached RMB2.5billion with the import and export turnover as USD29million.In this year, Nafine Group entered into the tourism industry .On Aug.8th,"the Chinese Dead Sea ,Yuncheng Salt Lake"-Relax Floating Bathing Place opened officially to the tourists. The experiencing traveling featured by the peculiar black mud bathing and the salt lake floating attracted visitors from all over the world.

2003:The Group's total turnover reached RMB3.2billion with the import and export turnover nearly USD30 million. Although we had been affected by SARS, our annual output still increased by 2% than last year.

2004:The Group's total turnover reached RMB2.7billion with the import and export turnover more than USD40 million. And in this year, China DeadSea -- Yuncheng SaltLake has become the hot scenic spot.

2005:It's really a great year. Our Group was appraised to be one of the Top Quality Management enterprises. And the Group's total turmover reached USD338million and our international business(import&export)reached USD45million which is 10% increase than 2004.

Our Daily-used chemical products have been continuously 10years commended as national famous & protected name brand and the Quality-check Free Product by the General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection and Quarantine of People's Republic of china.

Our total production capability of Sodium Sulphate reached 1.6million tons, our output of Sodium Sulphide reachde 120thousand tons, Sodium Hydrosulphide reached 10thousand and Barium Sulphate Precipitated reached 35thousand tons.

Our Dead Sea Theme Tourism Industry reached sales for USD 1.85million and our Dead-Sea series cosmetic products were successfully entering the Beauty Saloon Market.
